“Julia and Peter Sherwood certainly deserve a great deal of credit for turning 450 pages of detailed rumination and recollection into a fascinating and, yes, entertaining read by wisely allowing Rozner’s unique personality to drive the narrative.” Siegfried Mortkowicz, Transitions, 24 April 2024.

“In a four hundred-page long autofiction, meticulously and elegantly translated by Julia and Peter Sherwood, Rozner provides a rare testimony against the blind spots of collective history and memory.” Filip Noubel, Asymptote, 22 May 2024
